Can I throttle down a Little Giant pump?

Steve,

You could also put a pump chase on it if you don't want to increase the back pressure on the pump. Place a T on the outlet before the throttling valve and run it back to the pump inlet. As you throttle the outlet it will redirect water back to the inlet. If you use a valve on the chase return you have virtually infinite control over the flow to the tank with minimal extra heat from back pressure on the pump.

Awesome, thanks! Who sells the blueline pumps? I'll try that idea to tee off back to the inlet. that's a neat idea! :)

Wow, low wattage compared to the Little giants! What does it put out at 3 ft of head?

Take a look at the flow chart on the Blueline site I posted previously

Flow @ 3ft head looks like

BL800 - approx 800gph
BL1100 - a little over 1000gph
