It will probablly work but will likely shorten the lifespan of the bulb. I base this on reccomendations from Jeremy at CRA but I may be misquoting him so just take this as a caution. I believe that the AB bulbs should be run on HQI ballasts.
XM bulbs are nice and should work well, also the CRA bulbs seem nice for cheap $. Either of those or many other bulbs will work on your ballast, there are a lot of choices, check out sanjays testing to try to guessitmate what will work best for your application.
