Can you keep shrimp with any "reef safe" triggerfish?

I am planning to restock my tank after a tank disaster. I very much want to get a reefsafe triggerfish--bluechin, pinktail, or sargassum triggers, but was wondering if they eat other invertebrates like shrimp, snails, crabs, and hermit crabs? I know they are relatively peaceful fish but will they bother smaller fish like mandarins, neon goby, or clownfish?
I know other people do have these fish. How's everyone's experience with them? TIA

I have a bluejaw trigger and it doesn't bother any inverts at all. If you search out "Bluejaw" on both BRS & RC there has been a lot of discussion about this topic recently.

Good luck :)

I have a pinktail trigger and it has not bothered any other fish or inverts that I have seen. Still have both my cleaner gobies, cleaner shrimp, perermint shrimp, small anthias (though they sometimes swim into my carpet anemone and are gone)
Now if you are to add the shrimp or small fish AFTER the trigger you have a chance of it going after them because it might think you are feeding the tank from what I was told

Ver good point

I have a Pinktail and he doesn't bother any other fish or inverts in my tank. I have tons of peppermint shrimp and crabs - he doesn't bother them at all. I agree with Ray - you should add new inverts after the Trigger is sleeping so he doesn't think they are food. I also keep my Pinktail VERY well fed. He's a great fish! Tons of personality.

keep in mind they love to eat it seems like the never get full and if you don't feed alot other fish may suffer not to mention the price of fresh food.

Thanks, everyone. That was the answer I was looking for. I had read on Dr Foster+Smith that they ate shrimp so I wasn't sure.
