Can you use super glue to mount devil's hand leather coral or toad stool leather (on the back side of course).

Thanks

I'd say yes also, but I'd add that IME it's a LOT easier and more effective to use a plastic toothpic and rubberband.

I haven't had much luck with super glue on leathers. It holds for a couple of days and then it lets go. The toothpick and rubberband seem to work much better!

I used it on my DH and it worked great. I dabbed the bottom of the coral on a towel to dry it off as much as I could w/o over doing it. I put the gel on the LR and then dipped it in the tank so it skinned over, and then put more Gel. Held the coral in place until it setup, like 20 seconds or so. ANd it never came loose on me. HTH

I have done the same with leathers using super glue and it seems to be a hit or miss...So now I glue....then sew them to the rock with absolvable sutures or fishiing twine(no ill effects that I've seen, another member suggested this to me-I just use the superglue as well because things get a little slimy:) )
