Chloramine RO filters

I recently noticed bulkreefsupply sells special carbon filters to remove chloramine. I don't know much about this, but does anyone use them? Would my towns water quality report clearly show "chloramine" and if so what level is safe, if any?

Yep, you would need your towns water report. The filters are the carbon refills and the Penn Plax membrane. I run them on mine cause Boston does add chloramines to the water. Can't jeopardize the trusty water source!

I don't know how much is too much but i don't take chances.....it acts as an antiseptic to keep the water clean so I run the filters to be safe.

Air, Water and Ice sells a nice 75GPD\5 Stage RODI filter that removes chloramines as well. Got it from Amazon for a nice price. Works great and my town also adds chloramines.

Amazon sells the same ones for cheaper, I started running them a few months ago and like to think its making a differenct
