Clean those skimmers!

I decided to clean mine tonight...Oh boy, what a job it was!

Check out the coraline on the inside and feather dusters all over the outside. The coraline literally came off in sheets!

Yeah, lots of worms went in the trash. I always thought their tubes were brittle, but they are actually very rubbery.

steve is there any way to keep the light off the skimmer?im assuming its getting light on it to get coraline growing.

Not at this moment. My macro algae is in the same area as my skimmer. One of these days I'll make a seperate fuge, but probably not until I move and have a fish room.
