Cleaning Flexible Tubing

I use flexible tubing on a submersible pump to do water changes. I've noticed that it has gotten really gunked up. Does anybody know of a good way to clean out something like this? It's about a 25 foot piece of hose.

I've done it by placing cotton balls into it and blasting them back and forth with water using a pump. The trick is to get them packed in tight enough that they scrub the sides on their way through without packing them too tight and getting them stuck.

you can use a plastic boiler cleaning brush too they sell them all lengths and diameters I have cleanouts installed on my drains so I can do this lol

Because of the long length of the hose, I'm not sure what's the best way. Probably best to just replace it.

I'm going with Nick on this one. That's definitely a long length to be cleaning.

I hate cleaning hoses so I usually just replace them anyways :o

This is exactly what I thought when I first read this as well...

If you don't want spend the 30 bucks to replace it, you could try plugging 1 end then filling it with water and vinegar then plugging the other end.

But again I'd just buy a new piece.
