Cleaning Magnets: Algae-Free vs Magnavore

I am looking to buy a new cleaning magnet and I was curious if one is better than the other. Does anyone have experence with both of these brands and can provide a recommendation?

The Algae Free brand are nice, wood finish but all the ones i have leaked and did not float well.
The magnavore although not as pretty (black Plastic) is my pick.
they have the ER Series that has the extended reach allowing you to clean behind trim. that feature alone makes the magnet the better choice for me.
