Bull Reef Aquaculture

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I will be closing Bull Reef Aquaculture this year. I have been battling serious chronic health issues for the past decade, and in recent weeks, my condition worsened significantly, resulting in over a week of hospitalization due to complications. These health challenges have made it impossible for me to continue maintaining the Bull Reef Aquaculture facility. My family and I have decided to relocate to Florida, where I can access better healthcare and enjoy a less stressful lifestyle. Since we are selling our house—and the aquaculture facility is housed in a 2,500 sq ft metal barn on the property—everything must go.

I recently began a large coral reef build project (2,500 gallons) with the Utica Zoo and will be donating most of my aquacultured coral colonies, fish, and live rock to their system. The remaining coral will be sold, along with all of my custom-built tanks, stands, and sumps from Advanced Acrylics, plus all equipment and supplies from the farm. Everything is high-end; the tanks are museum-quality acrylic builds with PVC sumps and black metal stands. I am currently awaiting an appraisal from John at Advanced Acrylics to determine fair resale pricing.

I will only be entertaining serious offers. Shipping is not available on tanks, stands, sumps, and larger equipment as these items are too large. In a few weeks, once I have recovered further and my health has stabilized, I will begin scheduling appointments for interested parties to visit and view the items for sale. I cannot move any coral, fish, or rock until the zoo's systems are fully operational, but I will accept offers on systems and hold them for prospective buyers to collect once everything has been transferred to the zoo and the tanks are empty.

Attached are images of the systems available for sale. All lighting consists of Radion XR30 G5/G6 Pros, along with some AI Blades in various sizes. All pumps are Vectra S2, M2, and L2 models. I also have numerous MP60s, MP40s, and MP10s, Reef Octopus calcium reactors and protein skimmers, AquaUV sterilizers, JBJ chillers, three very large Apex systems with extensive modules, 8,000 gallons worth of Two Little Fishes AcuraSea salt, shipping supplies, two RODI systems with multiple large holding tanks for water storage (saltwater and freshwater), and various other items necessary for running a commercial aquaculture facility—including supplements, food, kalkwasser, calcium carbonate, magnesium, and soda ash.

**Note all custom tanks that have custom metal stands must sell together. I will not separate tanks and stands since the stands were made specifically for the tanks.**

If you are interested, please send me a private message so we can make arrangements. The facility is located in Frankfort, NY.

Sorry to hear about your health Doc, hopefully things change for the better down south. It's been a pleasure meeting and hattig with you.

So sorry to hear about your health struggles recently. Wishing you all the best! I also wanted to say that your tank setup is top-tier; the aquaculture system you've built is seriously inspiring.
