Update 8/17/2026:

The entire Bull Reef Aquaculture facility in Upstate NY has been cleared out. All livestock went to either the new exhibit that I built at the Utica Zoo in Upstate NY, or to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma Washington. Hundreds of mother colonies were sent to both facilities to kick off their 100% aquacultured coral reef exhibits.

All of the tanks, lights, and life support equipment made its way to the Greensboro Science Center in North Carolina to be the foundation of their new coral reef restoration facility dedicated to Florida Reef Tract Rescue work that will be opening in Fall 2027.

We are no longer growing and selling coral commercially. Going forward we are shifting our focus to consulting for zoos and public aquariums, as well as educational and research institutions. (We may also be inclined to provide our services for other large public/private displays, retail shops, and coral farms). See Bull Reef Consulting for more information.
