so i bought this new mysis that doesnt freeze because my fish stopped eating frozen food so i figured id try something new they eat it well only problem is the 2 times ive used it my tank has been cloudy i dont use alot of it per feeding but im slightly confused everything else ive fed them has been fine frozen cubes freeze dried stuff flakes that veggie crap in a bag i havnt tested anything yet but i figured id see if anyone has any ideas it doesnt happen right away but maybe like slowly after like 10 min it happens

Do you rinse it first?

You should always rinse the food. I used ro/di water to rinse my food out to get rid of all the bad stuff out and my tank never got cloudy again. Give it a try and see if that helps

i rinse my live food but this stuff is almost like a paste made by the guys from that show tanked

Yea they dont know what they are doing. I hate that show, i would feed only the stuff that is premade at the brs meetings (fish goo) its the best stuff around. Or i feed myssid, krill, brine, squide, with a little bit of omaga 3 fatty acids mixed in but i always rinse the food first. And as a every other day thing i feed dried seaweed

Try rods food.its frozen but all natural.no need to rinse.I just put a little bit in some tank water in a cup wait a few min till thawed then dump it in.get stuff

Oops..great stuff
