I'm curious if anyone here has ever had success putting a pic of clowns hosting a anemone to get their clownfish to do it. Thanks!

i have. i had a pair of tank raised clowns and wouldnt even look at a anemone. i took a pretty big pic of percs hosting, with in a month they was hosting my rbta. just try to get a pic of the clowns hosting the same color of your nem

That's what I was thinking, I'll give it a shot, where did you put the pic, right in front of the nem in the tank?

i put it right where the clowns stay most of the time.

Ok cool, thanks for the response man I am going to try it. anyone else with success post it here!

I tried and it didn't take. I have a long tentacle nem that's over 8" round and my two black and white clowns didn't want anything to do with it. I picked up a new dark green with pink tips long tentacle and they where in it within 15 min. Hit or miss

My clowns are hosting my huge cup coral right now, I have a 6" long tentacle, a torch, a frogspawn, hammer, Duncan's, and of course the RBTA but they have no interested in the corals with tentacles... I don't get it I guess it is a hit or miss.

I tried that also but even though they did host it I think it was just chance. I think they just eventually take to it.

I hope so, It has been at least 3-5 months since the nem has been in the tank.

Well, the picture is on the tank and the clownfish seem scared. I might have made the pic too big?
