colt coral

So I have a rather large colt coral. I am wondering if branches will fall off like kenya trees or do I need to frag it? If so does anyone have any references to fragging softies?

Dont know for sure ...but mine have never dropped anything. I use a good large sharp pair of scissors for fragging.

Same here on both accounts. I had one for years and it never dropped anything, and I also found sharp scissors to work the best.

Ok so I just get a sharp pair of scissors and cut off branches, mount them and thats all? I haven't fragged anything other than zoas.

Pretty much. I found the trick is to cut the colony quickly before it starts to deflate and harden. I used a rubber band or toothpick to hold the frags in place until they attached to a piece of LR rubble.
