confused by anemone

so i woke up and looked at my new anemone i got on friday he looked great but he looked like it had split i was pretty souped. there was a good half inch between the 2 sections i could see rock. but i got home from work just now and he looks like hes one big one again does this happen or maybe he stretched himself weirdly around the rock?

yea my huge green BTA does things like this every once in a while. She just stretches herself out in weird spots and looks like it might be splitting, but it still hasnt!
