Copper Question

APISTOBORELLI

Bass in pic swam away
I have a visitherm stealth 200W heater that at one time was in my QT which had copper. The heater has been dry for a month now, will there be any worry if I rinse it and use it in mixing water, etc.?

I dont know if it is safe or not, but I wouldn't risk it.

Mark,

Maybe you should choose another picture, no one seems to want to reply!

:D

No risk, IMO. The amount of copper that could be on the surface of a heater like this is so small it is meaningless. Still, I'd wipe it off good with a damp towel before use.
