I've had this green crocea for 3+ months now. It seems to be a rather messy guy - there is always stringy material around / coming from its foot or byssal region.
It is sitting flat on a rock and attached (although recently has moved some of its own accord).
Is the mucus / stringy stuff happening because the clam is irritated? The clam is downstream from my tree leather - maybe it is chemical? (see another thread about my debate on whether to get rid of the tree leather).
