Its BACK!!!
The biggest single day show in the country is coming up quickly and I wanted to make sure that my brother's and sisters in the BRS saved the date! With over 100 vendors (mostly corals), and more corals than at ANY show, ANY where, the 2026 FFM looks to be the biggest and best one yet. If you have never been, make the trip down and you will not be disappointed. If you have been in the past, you know, and you are already coming back- see you in March. Hosted at E.O. Smith High School in Storrs CT, FFM has a unique mix of big name vendors and local hobbyists (with some pretty cool additions for this year!), providing the best selection and best prices of any show. More info in the weeks to come, including the vendor list (its LONG...) and the vendor map, but I wanted to give everyone the date so you could pencil it into your calendars!

Adding to our calendar now Jon.

Get your coolers ready!
The 19th Annual New England Frag Farmer’s Market is just around the corner, and the vendor list is officially massive!

With 100+ vendors descending on E.O. Smith High School, this is the largest single-day coral swap in the country. Whether you are looking for high-end sticks, hardy softies, or the latest reef tech, we’ve got you covered.

2026 FFM Speakers

I am pretty excited about this year's lineup for speakers. It is a different line up, with some brand new topics but still very much sticking to the education and

-12pm - Taras Pleskun is one of the best in the hobby at culturing all different types of phyto and is going to share his knowledge with the FFM masses. This is going to great for anyone who has ever wanted to start their own cultures at home but wasn't sure how.

-2pm - Nick Giannasca is the founder of dxAquaria, a company that has developed a test, using DNA technology, for diseases in your aquarium BEFORE they start to show up on your fish. He is going to talk about that and how it is going to help save you and your fish!

-1pm - Lastly, the middle talk slot for the 2026 FFM will remain open to honor the memory of Lou Ekus, of Tropic Marin. Lou was an enormous supporter of the school's coral propagation program from very early on and was a big part of the FFM every year, having spoken a number of times. I always appreciated the experience and information that he had, and shared with me and with others in the hobby. Not just the FFM, but whole aquarium community lost huge piece when Lou passed away. To honor him, I am not only leaving the talk slot open, I am also going to donate a portion of the proceeds from this year's FFM to pancreatic cancer research in his name.
