debating on breaking down my tank

well its mostly the cleanings that take up the time. between taking apart my skimmer to clean and all the other stuff its like a project lol ive tried to split some things up here and there. but i also kind of feel like im not home enough to enjoy it for more than a few min.

I hear you on the Skimmer. I only clean mine once/month, but my skimmer is way oversized (300 gal skimmer for a 40 breeder) so I don't care if it underperforms a little. ---- maybe you can do something like that, get one that has a neck cleaning system, so you can wash it without taking it out, and connect it to a bucket, so all you do is empty the bucket.
