Digitate hydroids? How bad?

Saw this thread and hope the op doesn’t mind me posting this video. I have some of these worm-like things that can extend over 6 inches and seem to originate from a single point in the rock. They are smooth and almost look like a brittle star but are much too long. I can never see exactly where they originate.

Yeah my thoughts too. My Hydroids look more elastic and have short, sparse fern-like side threads

Of course not!

Update on mine, hydroids still present and occasionally irritating some corals. But not expanding rapidly so I haven’t done anything to mitigate them.
