Will dipping corals kill all types of algae? If not is there a way to kill algae on frag plugs and frags? Also from corals? Tank crashed recently. Now nuisance algae of many types have started growing. Acans receded and algae has grown on the exposed skeleton Some type of maybe hair algae on my AIO and rainbow infusion frags. It has intertwined in these zoa

H2o2 but you need to be careful not to get the coral

Agreed. Hydrogen peroxide. Use a small brush to apply on frag plugs. For exposed skeleton on lps, i would just clean that with a brush and not apply anything. maybe an iodine dip. You don't want to get hydrogen peroxide on coral tissue.

I have done a 50/50 h2o2/salt water dip with frags and dipped the whole coral frag in for a couple mins with zoas and lps coral. They were pissed but after an hour they opene back up in the tank. Just my experience..
