A little while back I traded an old Windows XP 64-bit disc to dz6t for a frag of Purple Hornets, probably 3-4 polyps from what I remember.
One day a week or two again I noticed they were all shrunken up and not opening. I thought they were just mad at being bumped or because of a change in light angle/intensity. After a few days to a week I moved it down to my frag tank to see if that helped.
This morning there was one very small, bunched up, polyp toward the outer edge of the frag plug and a bigger 'bump' in the middle, which I thought was glue or something; it was hard to the touch.
A few minutes ago I went do to check and see if my Yasha Goby came back from the dead (I tossed it in the frag tank after finding it on the floor next to the DT) and noticed the last polyp of PH was totally gone. I took the plug out of the frag tank and found:
1) When I pressed on the 'bump' in the center of the plug with a fishnet handle it popped... little pods or something came out of it. Also a worm or two (see pictures below).
2) There was a soft-shelled snail on the bottom of the plug (see picture).
Any ideas if these are the culprits? To be safe I'm thinking just toss them all.
Thanks.
