Do Banggai cardinals jump?

I have a pair of banggai cardinals that I put in last week. They always pair up at the corner of the tank just staring out. One of it disappear 2 days ago, and this one disappear this afternoon. Are they jumpers? I don't have a lid on the tank. Checked the overflow and its not in there. I do have 1 sally light foot in the tank. I looked into the rock work but it doesn't seem like they are hiding. Where could they have gone?

I had a pair (which I traded to someone who breeds them) and now have a single. In that 2 years they have never jumped or gotten close to the top, except for feeding time :)

I agree with both statements above... all fish have the ability and it cant be put past them... some will if spooked, or cornered, but its likely hood with this species are very very minimal at best... but it would be foolish to say they would never... in this hobby, there is at least one exception for every "rule" :)
