Does anyone grow sea lettuce in sumps?

Just wondering if anyone grows sea lettuce in their sumps to feed herbivorous fish and how it compares with Chaeto in terms of nutrient reduction etc.

I have sea lettuce, it grows faster than cheato and tangs love it.

Just be careful if you don’t have anything that eats it , it’ll take over your tank quickly

I’ve ordered from algae barn before and put in refugium to grow and feed tangs, grows great but the bristle worms in my refugium also love it.

Ha.. i thought about it when i saw you feeding your tangs sea lettuce.. was not sure whether it can be grown in the sump
