Does Garlic has negatic effect on corals?

Hello all,
I squeeze some fresh garlic juice into the tank to help fight an early stage of ick. I was wondering if it has any negative effect on the corals?

I used garlic when we made a batch of goo last summer. I have also used garlic extreme with no ill effects to corals.
