So I currently have a 90 gal and my stand is slowly deteriorating on the bottom where my sump is and was curious if with the fish I have I could down size because I have a 54 corner iv been wanting to set up but my only concern is my hippo tang (he's only about 2-2 1/2 inches long) would he be ok I know most people would Probobly say that my 90s already to small but he's my favorite fish in my tank any opinions?
Thanks mason

He'll definitely get too big, especially for a corner tank of that size... And I believe hippos are one of the faster growing tangs.

He would be ok for now, but you'll eventually (most likely within 6 months-a year) have to find him a bigger home.

I'm with fins......ok now (not ideal) but he will grow fast. Possible upgrade after the downgrade?

I know it wouldn't be a permanent situation Probably within a year or do would be moving and putting into a bigger tank
