For future reference, you might want to find out the answers to these questions BEFORE you purchase a fish. You and the fish will both be glad you did!

I think that 'with caution' means to keep an eye on the animal. It depends on their personality whether or not it will nip or even eat corals/inverts. I stay away from with caution fishes just in case.

they will eat small fish in a second. if by yellow blennies you mean clown gobies, oh yeah they will be fish food quickly. and as for the clownfish, i wouldn't give them a whole lot of time either. i think with caution means that they will eat your inverts such as cleaners and crabs, and also small fish. i am going to try and put a long nosed hawkfish and a dwarf lion in a reef this summer.

it eats frozen krill and silversides like crazy.

The Long Nosed Hawk will do fine if you have no shrimp. He will make quick work of cleaner, fire, or any other ornamental shrimp.

Expensive Hawk food! :D

your tellin me my anemone wacked my yellow tang that was a very expensive snack i might be lookin to get rid of it in a trade if it eats one more of my fish clown fish are living in it.

you are going to be selling the lionfish? what kind is it the zebra or the fuzzy?

ray i know about the hawk and cleaners, and trust me i would not try that. those hawks don't look too aggressive or that they have large mouths, but i know they do. sneaky little guys.

they will eat small fish and shrimps... thats the "caution" part. But they dont eat corals. :) hence the "reef safe" part.

most dwarfs get max of 5"

umm, it is going to hurt pretty bad. if you are allergic to them, or bee stings or something of that nature, you should go to the hospital immediately and bring a description of the lion if at all possible. if not they will probably call poison control to get an accurate medication to subdue the swelling. if you aren't allergic or you don't react badly, it will probably swell for an hour or two and hurt really bad. soak the injection with hot water for a long period of time. it is probably different for each person though. just keep an eye on those spines and i think you should be fine. just watch him with your hands in the tank.

when i go into my tank for maintenace it wont lash out at me and sting me for no reson right?
