Eliminating button polyps

Hello, I have a large amount of button Polyps and want to be rid of them. Is there a fish that would love to eat them or do I need to do it another way? Thank you...

I just went through this issue. I used both Aiptasia X and Kalk paste. You put the mixture in a syringe and coat the polyps. I am on the home stretch after three months of applying this stuff, twice a month. No fish will take care of it. Good luck!

I also went through this with my brown button palys. Nothing kills them or eats them. I took the rock out of the tank put it in a bucket, put on my gloves, goggles and a surgical mask and pulled them off with long tweezers. Totally disgusting process. They turn to slime and squirt stuff all over the place. The next time the rock fills up I think I will just replace it with a new rock.

I went through it also... i too pulled out the pieces of rock that were covered in yellow polyps and proceeded to pluck of every single one with tweezers it was a pain!! but i haven't seen any come back yet... 2 months now...

you could get an acan echinata and place it next to them and see if it wipes them out. Mine kills anything within 6" of it, it is brutal. If it doesn't work you will have a nice Acan ;)
