Emerald crab eating bryopsis

So I have a few small zoa frags that came in with bryopsis. I performed a peroxide dip and it killed it off.... For a week. It has slowly started to re-develop and I added an emerald crab to my tank a few days ago. I just walked in the door from work and watched him clip off a strand and is munching away. Also the second frag that had some bryopsis growing on it is clean, no signs of bryo. Anybody else aware of emeralds eating the stuff? I know they like bubble algae.

i have one in my tank with some little frags in it and so far i havent noticed him eating stuff

I have some emeralds that eat bryopsis, but very little. My foxface does a great job eating that suff, don't let it grow..

Never seen it myself. I've never gotten much longevity out of emerald crabs. They will control Valonia to some extent, but large herbivorous fish tend to be much more effective even for this purpose.
