Ever wondered about Wave Point? Here ya go

Hello everybody. i figured i would write this today because after looking for some reviews of what other people thought about Wave Points lights and fixtures, i couldn't really find to much a few on RC that were old that never got to the bottom of it so i figured why not.. Here ya go. i Copied and pasted from RC so bear with me.

Let me tell you a little about my tank I have a Wave Point 24" 4 bulb T5HO fixture running all wave point bulbs on a 28(?) bowfront that i've had up and running for about a year and a half, so far i have had a pretty decent turn out with the lights. i had a pretty good stock list for all this time up untill about 3 months ago when something happened and i lost all my livestock. so i've restocked it again in that time and again im having a good turn out so far everything seems to be happy and growing good. i have LPS Softies and 1 SPS thats high up that all seem fine.
Just an FYI for anyone wondering how these were. they are working for me so i dont see why they wouldnt for anyone else
also this is my first SW tank and have never had any experence with any other light so i can't compare them but if the others are better then this then im going to be in for a shock when i upgrade.
Now a little about the fixture.. an add on BRS gets that RC didnt because i just thought of adding it in now
The fixture...
i wish there were a few things different/upgraded on the one i currently have.

#1 I wish it sat a little higher off the tank. its about 3" tops from my tank when its on its legs/feet + i dont have a way to hang it(they do make a hanging kit i just dont have it)
#2 ZERO ventilation, it gets warm/hot when you hold your hand there on top of the fixture and also after its been running for 9 hours and you stick your hand in the tank and touch the glass/fixture with the outside of your bicep it jumps you a little and sometimes MAY leave a little blister/burn... REASON for #1
#3 only 1 power cord, downfall for me as i would love to have 2 cords running 2 bulbs each so i could have it come on and go off a little different then this sudden darkness to sun or vise versa

Other then that tho. i say there decent
Anyway they get a +1 from me

if you have any other questions about the light or fixture or anything else you feel like you need to know, feel free to ask
