Feeding cyclopeeze

Mr. Slippery

I stocked up on a bunch of foods today and on a whim bought a bar of cyclopeeze. I've never used it before, and frankly didn't know that much about it, but wanted to try some new foods. I know people feed their corals with it, but I figured it was too small for my fish to even get some, but my new(er) Kole Tang went freakin crazy over it. He just cruised the tank over and over with his mouth wide open grabbing every bit he could. The clowns seemed to like it too but they suck at swimming so it was hard for them to get it in the water column:p. I've heard that this food sometimes make fish color up better, can anyone attest to this?

Also I might try to feed some at night when all the LPS are hungry. How does everyone else feed it?

I know everything in the tank loves it. so I feed it daily

I spot feed most of my corals with it 3-4 times a week. And it shows, many shrooms, zoas etc. split quite readily.

Careful, a little goes a long way. It is very dense food, so feed it lightly or you may end up with an algea bloom. I love the stuff though.

thats an understatement :)

i mix it in with my fish goo and also feed in small chunks so the fish can chomp on it drives my anthias wild. what ever is left over the corals get

Anthias I can see because they are filter feeders anyways but I was surprised to see the tang go after it. The rest of them seemed to not really care that much.
