let us know how the SuperSkimmer works for you. That was my first skimmer but I always had trouble keeping the foam bubbles at a consistent level. Ended up overflowing one day, putting a couple gallons onto my wood floors.
i have the same skimmer.i put it right in the sump.pulls out tons of crap.i set the water line right where the neck start to bow in and let the bubbles do it's magic.it takes time for it to break in.
Running a Quiet1 2200 ~ 600gph.. seems like a bit too much flow thru the sump than I was planning on, and it seem to flush, need ot vent the cap better I think.. still playing with it.
Looks like a good start . It can be a lil tricky and for the life of me I don't understand why the manu did the return and drain bulkheads on top of each other like that . As far as flow I have a Eheim 1260 pushing through 2 .5 sea swirls on a 17.5 nano and it's not enough flow to me . That would be 6 90's . It does flush sometimes but not too bad .
Hope the wet test is good 2 go .
Ran about 12 hours with no water where it didn't belong..
If I take the top cap off the T on the return the flushing stops, I just thin kI need to vent it better and do a little tuning there. Might toss a ball valve on the return as well to tune that a little.
