Finnex heater controller

Well noticed tank temp down to 74* and found the temp probe had a short in it. When I went to check it damn thing zapped the hell out of me. All LS is ok all flew and hid...lol Used a 250 watt heater to get tank back up while I went and got a new JBJ controller. Just ranting a bit.

Did you just notice it or do you have a controller that drew your attention to it?

Funny was I woke up at 430 am and tank was down in temp. Noticed GFI had tripped shutting system down. I then got system back up and running check heater controller and turned up. Went to work when I arrived home tank was only a degree warmer at 75. Something told me check the probe at which time I did and bam zap ouch. Well $100 later on new controller. Tank is steady at 77.4.

$100 is a lot better to swallow than a tank full of dead corals!
