For those that don't know About our Fish Goo, we take all the ingredients and blend them all up in our new food processor. Those who contribute get to take home a bag of goodness for their Fish and all reef critters. Come watch Anthony (Jamesdong009) do a quality control test by tasting each batch to insure that this food is good and healthy for all your marine life.
All are welcomed to join in the tasting. "at own risk"

Thank You and Happy Feeding

We need this almost filled by Friday in order to make the fish goo for Saturdays meeting. If we can not get most of the items we will have to wait for next meeting.
lets see what we can do.

I will supply the scallop. A friend of mine is heading out scalloping tomorrow, so I should have fresh ones.

I can get squid if there is enough interest that fish goo is happening. And it seems like there should be with all the interest in this meeting... Maybe people just are just not sure? I would think at least a few people who are coming would have brine or mysis or something else and then be in for their very own bag of reef-candy.

This may have been answered at some point in time but does the fish goo cause any excess nutrients for any uneaten food? Seems like the fish would go crazy over this stuff

I'm sure it does if you overfeed it, same with anything else. But it provides a good healthy variety all in one go. I usually rotate it with my other "usuals."

It is pretty funny to watch my little neon goby grab the largest piece of squid/shrimp/whatever and make off with it.

Thanks for the info. Doesn't seem like its happening at tomorrows meeting but maybe in the future I can contribute some ingredients and try a little.

Sorry folks, this looks like a bust. I tried to wait as long as I could before pulling the plug, but not enough items filled. I will make sure that I post fish goo in the next meeting thread when it goes up.
