Fish recommendation

Looking for some recommendations on my next fish. I have a 34 gallon tank with 2 clowns, 3 green chromis. The fish has to be reef safe. Hoping for something with some nice colors.

Getting near you limit. Some form of a wrasse. They have many different colors and reef safe ones that stay small. Tail Spot blenny. I love mine. Just perches on my caps. Goby and shrimp pair for the bottom.

+1 I think a wrasse is a good idea.

Would a six line work? I heard they may be aggressive. I have very small (1") fish in there right now.

+1 on a wrasse or a nice goby. A Blenny is a nice choice as well. I have a yellow candy hogfish that I love and hate! It has killed several fish and a cleaner shrimp, but the inhabitants seem to have found a pecking order and I have not lost anything since. What I like about it is that it roams in and out of the coral and live rock searching for food much like a wrasse.

Yeah, like the two above, I'm also thinking reef safe wrasse.
Many fairy and flasher wrasses will be good reef citizens and will provide the color and activity you want.
On the negative side, they also may jump out, so a cover is recommended.

You could go simple and rather inexpensive with a yellow coris wrasse, or wait on a radiant wrasse or a mystery wrasse.

I hear six line's can be tough, but it depends on what the other fish is. Many people have them without a problem. It also depends on when the fish is introduced to the tank. Some fish establish themselves and then are less accepting of others. I have not had a six line, but would think it should be alright without another wrasse or wrasse shaped fish in the tank. Someone who owns one could give you a more information.

My six line was fine when I had him with all the fish that were in the tank before him. But anyone after him got attacked. Until his eviction. Loved the fish though

I have had a six line for a while with no issues. I have clowns but there not small. I have never seen him attack anything. Six line is a good hearty fish!

My clowns aren't small either. The female is a wild caught from Australia. Her mate is not. I was happy that they paired. She is a model citizen but also let's the other fish know she is boss in the tank.

A lubbock's wrasse is very hardy and usually a good citizen with nice colors. Cheap and easy care. 34 gal would be slightly small for many wrasses when they grow bigger, but if you don't add other fish you should be okay. The classic royal gramma is usually full of personality as well. Gobys and blennys like the tail spot suggested above are also good fish with personality and color.

In a 34 gallon tank, they only Wrasses I would recommend would be from the Wetmorella (Possum) or a Pink Streaked Wrasse (Pseudocheilinops ataenia). I would not recommend a Sixline with that many existing fish in a smaller tank. And the tank is really too small for any Fairy or Flasher Wrasse IMO.

Otherwise, I love the Tailspot Blenny recommendation. They are a perfect nano fish as they stay small, get along with everyone, eat everything, and have fun personalities.

I have a 34 RSM as well with two clowns and three chromis. I have a six life e wrasse doesn't bother any fish. I also gave green bubble tip anamone for the clowns.

I have a yellowline goby in my 8g and he's doing great. If I'm not mistaken, he is a cleaner goby who will remove parasites from the other fish. I've seen my buddies blue neon goby do it and it's fun to watch. Bonus is they top out at like two inches and will contribute very little to the bio load

Royal Gramma's can be mean too!
