For those that don’t have a band saw or dremel, how do you get that nice flat bottom on your frags before gluing? Hammer skeletons seem pretty soft and crumbled on me in the past when using scissors or coral cutters.

Invest in a dremel or saw you will end up shattering head and killing them they never crumble where you want them to.

Agreed don't use cutters. I have had marginal success snapping them by hand but they're no way flat lol

Like mention above I would invest in a Dremel with a diamond wheel. I have a rechargeable one and it’s worked great for the little fraging that I do.

I didn’t realize these battery ones were so inexpensive. I splurged and ordered one from AliExpress. Shipped for $5.79 without any attachments!

Yes, a diamond blade Dremel tool will work. Make sure you wear eye and face protection though. It will definitely make a mess.
