FW to SW converson

This is just in the idea stage, really its up to my mom and what she has to say about a 30 gal reef in her basement. That being said i have half a dozen or so fish in there and i was looking for some tips on conversion. Any input would be appreciated. again this is not a green light on my moms part and im just looking for ideas. the area where the tank will reside is finished and insulated as well. thanks in advance guys!!!!

Don't do it without draining all the freshwater, thoroughly cleaning the tank and filling it with fresh RO/DI saltwater. If you simply add salt to the existing water you are asking for problems.

yeah that was the inital plan i thought that the fw bacteria would be some sort of conflict.
