Getting Rid of Thin Stripe Hermit Crabs

So what's the best way to get rid of these guys?

We bought 5 of them as the first residents of our tank 4-5 months ago, under the assumption that they were blue legs, based on the blue-ish-green hue of their legs. Since we finally figured out what they are, I ordered a shipment of actual blue legs from reefcleaners.com.

These guys supposedly get up to 2-3 inches, so they're definitely going to outgrow our 30 gal. They've never killed any snails or bothered any corals, besides the occasional picking/cleaning. What I'm wondering is...

1) Will a LFS take them for free?

2) Would anyone on here have an interest in taking them?

3) Would they live long happy lives in my overflow?

4) Why did I believe the kid at Petco...oh wait, never mind...

Lesson learned! I would go with the overflow unless someone takes you up on the offer. You could see if a LFS would give you a couple bucks store credit for them

I'd throw them in the sump, however if they aren't harming anything and if there's no big empty shells in the tank they really won't have anything to grow into and I'd just leave them in

Without starting a flame hate at Petco lol, the majority of peeps working there, know only a small amount more than a total newb. As an employer you, you get what you pay for lol.
