Glass cleaner streakless - outside of the tank

Question for those of you especially with the built in tanks - I am assuming some folks are like me where there is glass you can't reach easily with your hand to clean (outside not inside the tank).

What I need is a miracle glass cleaning thing that when it touches glass, it cleans it. And by touching I mean this magical substance is at the end of a 4’ stick so I cannot apply much to any pressure.

I've got a rimless tank, so water gets dripped down the glass so this cleaner needs to cut through salt film.

Tried many combinations of rags, sticks and glass cleaners. Also tried computer monitor wipes. All I'm doing is creating a nice dull haze.

I use a wet paper towel followed by a dry paper towel or cloth. Be very careful of glass cleaners that contain ammonia and other chemicals. Water is all you need to clean the salt off. As far as the stick goes, try one of those long helping hand grippers that people in wheel chairs use. I have seen them in the dollar store as well as Walmart.

vinegar and water with an old 100% cotton rag....if you have salt creep, razor it off first

Use old newpaper it wil stop the streaks. just a couple drops of water and poof . And then you can still recycle the paper. A win win :.

Through the years I have heard to use RODI water and vinegar. Due to the RODI water having everything removed from it. The RODI water pulls the minerals/oils etc from what it comes in contact with. For the same reason why they tell you not to drink RODI water, because it will pull the minerals etc from your body.

I use RODI water and vinegar. It may take a couple of times wiping things down, but it seems to work quite well.

Give it a day as I am sure some of the more experienced members will chime in.

honestly, i use invisible glass from the auto store on my glass. i am just very careful not to get it in the tank. Tank is built in though so its easy enough to keep the cleaner out.

I use any glass cleaner but if you wipe it off with newspaper there will be absolutely no streaks I do this with every piece of glass I clean..a little trick of the car detailer

RO only is perfectly safe for people just to be clear.

RO , Vinegar and paper towels is all I've ever needed to keep the glass clean and streak free
