gorilla glue superglue

Anyone use it?
I usually use loctite as I've found it to work the best and doesn't require a lot but the gorilla brand is well over twice the amount of glue for the same money....
Package says rubber toughened and "contains" cyanoacrylate. Also says rapid polymerization upon contact with water...generating heat.

Think it would be safe to use?

never tried ti but i see it in Lowes all the time . I would think it would just run since it's not thick like the gel .

Funny it looks gel like and thought I read on the package it was gel...but....just put on the specs and nope not gel...lol :o It's constancy is like cold syrup I think it would be fine.

So when are you going to test it ? I am going to tag along on this one . I do think 6 grams of SGG for a buck at the dollar store is a bargain .

I have tried those(dollar bargain brands) many times and am disappionted every time...more air than glue in those tubes.

I've always used loctite in tank. i do love gorilla glue though in the shop. the stuff is really strong but it is a little more runny then the loctite gel...

I find that gorilla glue takes longer to set up and the less you use the better. I have always used the BSI IC-Gel, it's usually pretty cheap and a good sized tube that doesn't dry out very quickly at all.

Ditto!

As long as its cyanacrilate it should work fine

Cool... so you have used it! I do miss the BSI,haven't been to a lfs or purchased online in a long...long time.

I've used gorilla glue for home projects and hate the stuff. The syrup consistency is really runny and it takes a long time to set.
