Green Algea or Eggs ID please

I was looking at my tank today and all of a sudden I saw hundreds of tiny green dots or eggs get released into my display tank. I couldn't believe my eyes, although my fish loved eating most of it I'm not sure where it came from.
Here is a pic of it.

I only have Chaeto in my sump with no signs of these green eggs in there. Although I did just get a good amount of new Chaeto added to my tank a week ago there was no sign of them then either. I have nothing else unusual in my display tank that could of produced this other than perhaps 2 new big feather dusters I just added too recently.

Anyone have any ideas what this is? Does Chaeto spread like this? I didn't think so and it doesn't look like Bubble algea to me.

Thanks in advance

Any cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, or emerald crabs? I've seen them carry eggs then release them at once.

If your fish were happy to eat them, then probably eggs of some kind. Free meal!

Amazon, yes I have a couple peppermints and a couple emeralds but I can't believe that the mass amounts of these eggs would of come from one of them.

Anyways yes free meal for my fish but I 'm just worried it could turn out to become a nuisance algea.

Thanks for looking

I think it may of been my green bristle starfish which I had for about 6 months. What I failed to mention originally is 24 hours after I completely redid all of my rock work these eggs got released in a large number all at once. I found a pic of someone elses green bristle starfish releasing eggs, this is my guess what happened here.
