Green Brittle Star

I just got a Green Brittle star (about 12 inches across)for my reef tank last week. Today I notice that he is missing about an inch off each one of his legs. What would do this? The only sizable fish I have in there with him is a 7 inch naso tang, could he be doing it? I havent seen the tang go near him. I know they grow back but I dont want this thing getting tortured if it is the tang. Any thoughts? Did I not acclimate him correctly? Is this something they do when they are stressed?

Could it have already been missing? I don't think a tang would bother a serpant star. Maybe you've got a mantis shrimp somewhere?

that's a lot of leg to get eaten off, and naso's are not likely culprits.....
