Green toadstool frag losing its color?

Hello. I recently purchased a small frag(about 1") of so called Tyree's LE green sarco from a fellow reefer. The toadstool seems to be doing fine, its polyps extended and all but it seems to lose its color when its polyps are fully extended. I only see a tint of green when the coral is shrivelled up during night. It's under 2 18w 50/50 power compacts in nc6. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

at night you are supposed to barely see any green thts the way its suppose to be

Shouldn't the green toadstool look like this?

Mine is like that except it's missing GREEN color.

The frag was originally purchased from Armando. I don't think it's a regular toadsthool but it seems very strange seeing the extended polyps looking just like regular toadstool.

Polyps will change color based on lighting
I had mine too close to MH & they turned brown
I moved them into "shade" and they greened back up
Possibly you have "less" light then what they were used to & have changed color?

I agree. You are only running two 18W bulbs. I understand you have a nano, but you are also only using 18W of "effective" light (the actinic helps it look better but doesn't help in growth much). I know toadstools don't require much light, but if they are used to a high light tank, they won't be happy in a low light tank until after they adjust.

I placed the coral on very top. It seems very happy with fully extended polyps. Is it possible that it might regain its color after a few weeks? Can it be that it's getting too much light? I mean I know it's pc light but since it's placed on very top, it might get too much light. Here's a pic of the actual frag.
