Grrrr... Again...

This is my 2nd "Well that sucks" thread this week... Not doing to well.

So I'm standing in my dinning room and I here a load "Snap/Crack" like sound. My back was towards the tank. I thought that was it. I got that feeling in my stomach like when you see the cops in your review, and you know you did something wrong. I thought the tank let go. I turned around to see a milk white fog kreeping accross the tank from the opposite end. Well, at lest she is still holding. I walk over and see my Maxi-Mod aimed at the sand.

By time I realized what had happend, The tank was a mess.

Ughhh, well at least plastic is easier to fix.

No! don't super glue it. You'll end up with another sand storm. Mine broke in the same place, superglue won't hold it. Just talk to Pat. He offered me a new one.

Pot of boiling water, and in 10 min I had an Overflow hanger...lol

Tank is almost clear again too... I did some major aquascaping changes while the tank was a mess. Guess it all worked out for the best.

This type of problem sometimes occurs when you put too much stress on a acrylic while bending it. You have to make sure that the acrylic is very 'fluid' before trying to bend it.
