a couple heads on my hammer haven’t been opening. After some research I’m thinking it may be brown jelly as it’s gotten a slight brown tinge to it.Is dipping it in hydrogen peroxide a good option? The other 6 or so heads seem fine

Dip them in Iodine i stead of hydrogen peroxide

From what I just read on the internet povidone iodine is the right stuff. Says 10 drops to 1/4gl of tank water
I will add more than that, simply made a tea color solution and dip for 10 to 20 minutes for infection

Just dipped it for 20 min Dong, I noticed you said for infection after you stated for how long to dip it. Do you go less for dipping new hammers you’re introducing to the tank? Also do you change the iodine solution for each separate frag or can it be used multiple times?

For dipping new coral, 3 to 5 minutes is good enough.
I only use the solution once and discard it.
