Another day, another newbie mistake. Was at a Petco looking for a cheap quarantine tank and saw a "kamohara blenny" for sale. I have been wanting a small blenny, so I went for it. It didn't look quite right for a Kamohara, but I thought it might be a juvenile with cryptic coloration.
Today, I did a Google Image search and discovered it is very likely a harlequin basslet! Information on this fish varies widely. Some sources say max size 4", some 11.5", and one says 2-3". I am concerned it will quickly grow too big for my nano tank.
Anyone experienced with these who can offer advice? So far I love the guy. He's very curious and comes out to hang with me when I'm by the tank. If I have to re-home him, I will.
