My cycle took just over 2 months to get right. I am wanting to get a few corals that will grow to take up some space. It is still currently fishless.
I like the idea of the following if around:
Moni - 2 colors
Kenya Tree
Pulsing Zenia
Birds nest or acro

Welcome to the hobby. Xenia and Kenya tree
, upside easy to keep good for beginners. Downside both spread. Xenia is difficult to control as it sends off polyps which start new colonies. It's very slimy and very difficult to remove off of Roc. It can take over a tank. Kenya is also easy to keep and sends off polyps but they,in my opinion, are relatively easy to remove from Rock. There are plenty of easy to grow leathers out there which don't spread so much. Best of luck in the hobby.

I have toadstool and red cabbage. Both are easy softies. Let me know if you are interested

I have white toadstools with pretty long polyps. Also have some pomegranate chalice on rocks, green and red Acan on rock, green and yellow Favia, assorted zoas, a solid gold leptatstrea, and some other goodies in the sump. None of these are really demanding in light or water needs. Can break off a good chunk of cherry tree monti also.

I want to give a big shout out to Lee and

Xhxxh - I was very kindly provided some frags of GSP, Gorgonian and a piece of Red Cabbage. They have done a week in the QT and look good so adding to my main tank.

Thank you so much - was great to meet you both and made my Xmas. My first corals in my tank and promise I will pay forward to new reefers when they are established and can share.

Will post photos in my build post and update as they take hold.

You should adda couple of hardy fish and follow the ammonia.
Corals are the last thing to add.

Its never just one cycle. There will be additional mini cycles as you add livestock

I have got to meet several great reefers - David I got some pods and phyto off (well worth it), got some beautiful frags from Ken and a set of CUC from Jays (a bit expensive there)

Have got through the brown stage and my GSP and mushroom is starting to open and look good.

Getting my zen back together and looking forward to making additions and growing out frags…

Need black / dalmatian mollies? I have many hardy reef ready born in full salt water. They can handle flow and hair algae. Will eat from your hands and make other shy fish feel safe and stay out in the open more. Another molly I have with a royal gramma keeps him out all day. These have never been with any other fish, no pests.
Also have a 6 line wrasse I'm going to part with due to wanting other wrasses in the future. Middleboro
