Hello/Looking for a filter

Hello,
I'm a Boston high school teacher looking to set up a 29-gallon freshwater tank in my classroom. I plan to keep platys or some other kind of livebearer. I'm looking for a used filter. I know this is mostly a saltwater forum, but someone at Skipton's suggested that I ask. Also, if anyone has platys to donate or has any experience with platy genetics, that would be great, too.

Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the club. I might have a magnum 350 floating around. I'll have to look when I get home tonight. I raised live bearers as well for a long time. If there's anything I can do to help let me know.

I will need some advice I think, depending on whether I decide to incorporate them into my genetics class.
