hello reefers!

I am looking to build a stand for my new setup and I am looking for a local place to buy 2 cabinet doors.
anyone knows where? or anyone can do them?

thanks: Sam

I would go to Home Depot, Lowes, or a local cabinet shop and see what they can get you for standard sizes, and go from there. If you build the cabinet, and then have them make the doors it might get real expensive. If you get the doors painted, you can have them color matched, and you would be surprised how close it will be. No one will know but you.

Good luck

Derek

+1 on this... also check Grossmans outlet if they are still around.

HD and Lowes have a section of where you purchase the cabinet and then just match the look of the door. Sort of lik Garanimals.

If it is a standard size you maybe able to find a returned damaged cabinet hat has good doors for cheap money. It does not hurt to ask the kitchen design department.

Don't forget to check craigslist. People are doing demo all the time and trashing cabinets w/ doors.
If you're going to paint it anyways... why not?

If the doors you find aren't wide enough for installing your equipment, but would work OK with routine maintenance activities, use metal angle brackets or other method to allow the two end face boards upon which they are hinged to be easily removed when required. That'll give you more flexibility to adapt any doors that are close to what you need by changing the width of the face boards..
