help with identification please?

Hey guys, I went back to the store to get that psuedochromi, but he was gone. I did find this guy though and the LFS told me it was a wrasse. I just don't know what kind of wrasse though. Any help is appreciated.

thanks guys, either way i have one of those guys now, and so far he likes all the hiding places in my tank.

beware, it will be an aggressive fish towards others invading his space. nice splash of color in your tank though.

he is a very good color, and the tank has sooo many hiding places right now. i have 60 lbs of rock, and plan on getting 10 lbs more soon. i only have a 40 gallon tank. also, i don't plan on getting many more fish. plan on 2 more fish, some sort of clown fish and maybe a firefish or something. then i want an anenome and then corals.

pretty sure the firefish would not be a good idea. they are really, really timid fish. mine hides all the time when the gramma is on his side of the tank.
