Horseshoe crab from Fragsgiving...

Bought a horseshoe crab at Fragsgiving and always curious what happened to it. Went downstairs this morning while lights were out as electrician is coming over to quote out adding two separate breakers for tank (one for tank and one for heaters) and I happened to catch a large lump of sand moving and saw the tail of the horseshoe crab and thought it was pretty cool!

Honestly cant believe horseshoe crabs are still getting sold. They get 2 feet and will achieve that in under 2years. No one has that room for one and with there numbers drastically reduced in the wild it needs to be eliminated from te hobby. The just dont live long in our hobby size tanks.

That's what I thought but was told this was a species that grows much slower and plan to get a much larger tank next year but generally I agree with your statement and I purchased knowing I have plenty of food/detritus in my sandbed.
