How long do u run your lights?

I ramp my blue LED's from 10am-11am, stay at the desired percentage until 8pm then ramp down until off at 9pm.
Whites start ramping up from 11am-12pm, stayed at desired until 7pm, then ramp down to off at 8pm.

So with that said, blues (in your case Actinics) go roughly 9hrs (minus ramp up/down).
Whites (yours-Halides), 7hrs.

It's not the duration, it's the intensity in the correct spectrum.
I run my actinics 8 hours, my 250W MHs 7 hours.

leds on at 8am till 8pm

t5 10 am till 7.30pm

Halides 11am till 7pm
This lighting schedule i have used for many years. Your Halides @8 hrs are fine but if you have supplemented lighting you could lower the time.

If you have your lights on a fixed intensity, you'll probably want a 6-8 hour photo period. If you have a controller or can gently ramp up/down you can stretch that over a longer period.

I run my main lights (two Kessil A360WEs) from 12pm-10pm, with the following intensity ramp:

... and a color ramp (actinic...whiter...actinic):

I skew it later in the day so I can enjoy it more when I'm home (6-10pm). There's 4 hours of peak white-sunlight color and two hours of peak intensity/brightness.

This is a newish routine for me (since December), would love to hear any feedback people have.

Reminds me that I want to make some changes...This is the "Bali Sun" program.

I'd like to tweak mine for better viewing aesthetics at key times of the day / evening. Alas, I have to take the laptop into the room and carefully aim it so the bluetooth links up.

I never have gotten the moonlight thing to work... But in all fairness, I've not read the documentation.

I run all 6 bulb of T5 bulbs from 12pm-6pm. I have 2 of the bulbs come on 2 hours before and stay on 2 hours after.
